[RFCI-Discuss] IPv6 Bogons

So, a long time ago, when I was first getting IPv6 support for
bogusmx, I was given (onlist? privately?) by someone:

     my @six_bogons = ('0000::/8', '0100::/8', '0200::/7', '0400::/6',
                       '0800::/5', '1000::/4',
                       '4000::/3',
                       '6000::/3', '8000::/3', 'A000::/3', 'C000::/3',
                       'E000::/4', 'F000::/5', 'F800::/6', 'FC00::/7',
                       'FE00::/9', 'FE80::/10', 'FEC0::/10',
'FF00::/8');

So now, reference:

	http://www.rfc-ignorant.org/tools/detail.php?domain=alteredstates.info&submitted=1196030819&table=bogusmx

which has, essentially, this:

alteredstates.info.    86400    IN    AAAA    ::ffff:125.236.218.218

So...

- is this valid?
- does the list of IPv6 bogons needs to be corrected in some fashion?

Again, what that list should contain is SIMPLY, "RFC-mandated
unassigned space" (e.g., the equivalent of RFC1918 space, multicast
ranges, permanently reserved, etc., etc.).

Cheers,
D
