Wait, are we discussing eNERGis.pl or eMPOLis.pl?  The latter has no MX
or even A Record.

We think you wrote about this primary MX:
energis.pl.             30872   IN      MX      0 ss.gts.pl.
ss.gts.pl.              52911   IN      A       217.153.86.116

We get the following from here:
C:\>telnet ss.gts.pl 25
Connecting To ss.gts.pl...Could not open a connection to host on port 25
: Connect failed

We assume, therefore, that the SMTP daemon (or local equivalent) on the
primary MX is in fact not responding to anyone.  Neither is its HTTP
daemon (if it has one).  But its Ping daemon is just fine.  :)
