This will fail to resolve for any site where the DNS servers have been
set to strict enforcement of RFCs.
Additionally, puting CNAMEs to systems outside your control is risky at
best and downright foolhardy a lot of the time - mainly because you have
absolutely no control whether such entries would suddenly cease to
resolve, or suddenly change to 127.0.0.1 or similar madness.
