Sorry my mistake.

Ok. I dialed the number an listened to the intro. I would stil say that
this recording /service is still NOT sufficient because:

The recording speaks of this number as being for Yahoo employees,
members, and/or their partners. I presume the whois info is suppose to
present public contact points, not private or privelaged contact points.

Employees at the other end of the line would not necessarily be aware
that they are to support public whois issues in addition to their
specific job function of providing support to Yahoo & its partners. So
in the end you end up getting the run-around:

me: hello, I have a problem XYZ related to Yahoo

them: what is your member number please?

	me: i'm not a memeber.

them: sorry sir, this number is only for Yahoo employees
	and its member partners.

me: huh? but this number is listed in the ARIN WHOIS database
as the techinical contact point and I have a network problem.

them: sorry, but this dept. is not open to the public at
large, /please call ZYX instead | you must be a member to
	use this service | click/gi
